As for my response, optics are the issue. Whether or not you have done anything illegal is NOT for me to decide. What I did in WH and now in Millersville is just to show the people what goes on. Purchasing property from the city and voting on the purchase just looks bad. It is the appearance of impropriety that the people all over this country are tired of. You should look back on some of my articles that I wrote about our previous mayor and board. If you sat on a planning commission and then became a real estate agent, that looks bad. If you sit on the city board and then sell your property to a developer that also donated to your campaign, that looks bad. If one of your properties comes up at a meeting to be rezoned will you vote on that too? I did not reach out to you. I watched the last city meeting and was unsure that you could control yourself in a conversation where you were upset. As a public official, who seems to care about their city according to your comments on some of my other articles, it would seem you too would care about optics. If you cared about optics, you would have recused yourself from the vote on the property you purchased. If you cared about your city and optics, you would not have threatened another commissioner in a public meeting and yelled at your mayor that he was out of order. As a public official, you are to be held to a higher standard since you represent the people that voted for you. Do better.
This Saturday Purpose Life Church 8:30 am breakfast of the Robertson County Republican Party. Mark Green usually has a representative there. Marsha Blackburn and Bill Haggerty? Dr. Sabi Kumar and Kerry Roberts usually are there.
I took the time to watch those two videos and wow, what a dumpster fire down there in Millersville. Shocking!
