My husband and I were heading to Clarksville last weekend and took the backroads there rather than take the death ride on 24. We ended up on that stretch of highway, a HUGE 4 lane, pristine pavement and absolutely nothing in sight but farm land, thinking for sure right around the corner would be some huge Amazon distribution center, only to be disappointed that we saw nothing. Absolutely nothing. We were confused to say the least.
I’m up at 4:45 am to make it to my son and DIL’s house by 6 so she can be at work (teaching) at the title 1 school up there, (Krisle elementary). Teachers can’t afford daycare, and they can’t afford housing in WH. (Let’s not go there). No one is talking about the negative impact vouchers will have on these small neighborhood schools.
While there is a four lane with absolutely NOTHING on it, I’m driving the equivalent to Rainbow Road Mario Kart version, turtle shells included, navigating my way from WH to Cross Plains Rd, to Bethlehem, in order to be on Baggett by 6 so the DIL can get to work on time winding her way through back roads as well. I honestly don’t know how they sleep at night.
Great article. Will forward it on. People really need to start being aware of what’s going on, (and not), around them.
OMG!!! Rainbow Road. I laughed too hard on that. You are correct though. I would love to see the crash stats on the 1.2 miles in Robco that made the 10 year plan. Thanks for forwarding it on.
Excellent article. It's time to stop pulling punches.
Every word on point!
Tell it like it is, Nikki!
The gov't stopped representing the people a long time ago. We need so many more people like you to keep on hammering away. I appreciate you!
They truly are an oligarchy up there. And thank you.

Yes, what they’re missing is the “almost crashed statistics”!
😂
