Someone from the city needs to check on the “Copes Crossing” development on Tyree. Their retention/detention ponds have no buffer zone, or vegetation/trees planted to help with erosion control or storm water filtration as outlined in Chapter 5 of TDEC’s storm water and erosion control requirements nor meet sumner counties regulations on the same.
I hope someone is watching North Palmers, Dorris Farms, and Copes Crossing, anything else emptying in to Honey Run because in Meadowbrook we are getting schnockered in as well, we’re on the verge of losing our bridge (only point in to our house and will lost street access) as well as a 100+ year old tree beginning to show rapid deterioration. I’ve spoken to John, he was really helpful, I hope this is an eye opener for us all as a town. This BOMA certainly has their hands full, and my daily prayers! Thanks Nikki!
I’m on Patana dr .. NEVER in 13 years have we had storm water flooding like we’ve seen the last 6 months !! Not to mention all those drainage lines coming into the creek have completely eroded away our banks I have water and sewer pipes hanging above the creek from all the erosion
Yes! We’ve been here since 2009, almost 16 years and in the last two or three it’s been awful! We have the creek right thru out front yard I used to love it. Now it threatens our entire investment in home ownership.
Thank you, Nikki! You are the conduit to keeping the citizens in the loop on things like this & leading the accolades and celebrations of the accomplishments of our elected officials! John Corbitt, thank you for caring and going to visit the family that was dealing with the flooding!
That is great news, and I sure hope those affected households get relief soon. Thanks for sharing!

Please call codes and/or public works next week and report this. They will jump on it I promise.
Yes sir, I will make that call. Thank you for your guidance.

Fantastic White House residents. We elected a great BOMA and they are doing what needs to be done. Thank you, Nikki, for a job well done.
