Ward 4 Alderman Sworn In
Mike Wall sworn in before BZA meeting
Thursday night before the Board of Zoning Appeals meeting a special session of the Board of Mayor and Alderman was called. Mayor Corbitt, Alderman Spicer, and Alderman Silver were in attendance. The special session was not required, so Alderman Matthews did not need to attend. Wall was sworn in and the meeting was adjourned.
At 7pm the board of zoning appeals saw one request.
An Express Oil is being put in where Rod’s Tire was, next to the old Captain Video. The company was requesting that the bay doors be able to face Hwy76 the same as Valvoline. The request was approved. This will come before the planning commission in the upcoming months.
