There were several board members missing for this meeting. McCormick, Collado, and Corbitt were not in attendance. The changes to the agenda were approved as was the agenda and the prior minutes. Public comment was waved to later in the meeting since only one person wanted to speak.

Property is referenced as Robertson County Tax Map 109J, Group A, Parcel 006.00, and Tax Map 106, Part of Parcel 067.00. Property is zoned C-2, General Commercial and is located at Highway 76. It was originally speculated that Goodwill would be either in the Publix development, or the Raymond Hirsch 31W development. Goodwill has brought the city a plan to purchase and build behind Orchard Park Animal Hospital.
The traffic signal that will be installed on Raymond Hirsch is not showing o the plan, but it will be there. The exit for Goodwill will be in line with the new traffic signal that Publix is installing. There will be shared access from 76 with The Farmer’s Bank. The signal will be installed in the next few months. Business owners surrounding the property have asked about the traffic. One citizen was there to speak to the new build. He is concerned about traffic for the animal clinic and the children’s clinic. Will this build make it more complicated to get in and out of the two offices. City administrator Herman added that the new signal might actually make it easier to get in and out creating a break in the traffic patterns. Approved
Item # 7 Concord Springs-Phase 2/Real Estate Solutions Group: Request Recommendation to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen for subdivision acceptance. This has come up repeatedly to the board. It is ready to be accepted. Approved
Item # 8 Staff: Discussion regarding rezoning request at Eastside Drive/Highway 31W.
There was some other discussion regarding Goodwill that I could not hear on the recording. Much of it had to do with requiring easements. There will be more discussion as it goes through the rest of the process.
